Installing the Driver

Click the Add Printer... button.

Select AppleTalk.

For Mac OS

X 10.2.4 or greater users:

If you want to connect your printer using the
Simple Network Configuration capabilities
of Apple

Mac OS

X, select Rendezvous

and then the Brother HL-8050N series.
Go to

Select BRN_xxxxxx_P1_AT

, and then

click the Add button.

*1 xxxxxx are the last six digits of the

Ethernet address.

Select Quit Print Center from the Print
Center menu.

Setup is now complete.

For Network Interface Cable Users

For Mac OS

X 10.1 / 10.2 Users

If there is more than one of the same model
printer (HL-8050N) connected on your
network, the Ethernet address (MAC
address) will be displayed after the model
name.
