Communications Security Settings

Select required communications security settings.
Specify a four to sixteen digit alphanumeric code only if "PIN code:
Enable" has been selected.
Select whether or not to enable Secure Simple Pairing.

Accessibility

Select whether or not to search from another device.
Select this setting from the computer when the printer cannot be found.

Secure Simple Pairing (SSP) is a feature for
establishing a connection via Bluetooth ver. 2.1
without entering a PIN code.
Between SSP-compatible devices, it is not necessary
to enter the PIN code for establishing a connection
with a Bluetooth device. However, security is not
particularly high since there are no limitations on
compatible devices establishing a connection.
To prohibit printing by others, select "Disable".
In addition, devices incompatible with SSP or where
SSP is disabled will require pairing with PIN codes
specified and encryption enabled.
