12 Set Tone or Pulse dialing

Your machine comes set for Tone dialing service. If
you have Pulse dialing service (rotary), you need to
change the dialing mode.

Press Menu.

Press a or b to choose Initial Setup.

Press a or b to choose Tone/Pulse.
Press OK.

Press a or b to choose Pulse (or Tone).
Press OK.

Press Stop/Exit.

If you are connecting the machine to a VoIP service
(over the Internet) you need to change the
compatibility setting.

Press a or b to choose Initial Setup.
Press OK.

Press a or b to choose Compatibility.
Press OK.

Press a or b key to choose
Basic(for VoIP).
Press OK.

Press Stop/Exit.

Automatic Daylight
Savings Time
You can set the machine to change automatically for
daylight savings time. It will reset itself forward one
hour in the spring and backward one hour in the fall.

Press Menu.

Press a or b to choose General Setup.
Press OK.
c
Press a or b to choose Auto Daylight.
Press OK.
d
Press a or b to choose On (or Off).
Press OK.
e
Press Stop/Exit.
