1 Turn off the power switch.
2 Open the scanner
cover by pulling the
lever toward you and
lifting the cover.
Make sure the
scanner cover is
completely open.
3 Remove the drum
unit by holding each
side of the drum by
its handles and gently
lifting the drum
forward toward you.
4 Gently turn the
lever on the toner
cartridge
counterclockwise
until it stops.
The used toner
cartridge cannot
be removed
unless the shutter
is closed by
turning the lever
completely to the
front.
Note
Place the drum unit
on a drop cloth or
large piece of
disposable paper to
avoid spilling and
scattering the toner.
