Select the Acknowledge Avigilon alarms on call termination check
box if the Avigilon alarms do not need to be manually acknowledged
within the Avigilon Control Center Client each time.

Click Remove Selected Tags from Mapping to hide tags that have
already been mapped.

Click >> to map the alarm together. The mapped alarm is added to the Alarm
Mappings list.

To remove a mapping, select mapped alarm and click <<.

Click Save.

5.

Repeat the previous steps until all the alarms you need are mapped.

6.

When all the alarms you need are mapped, click Update Service to restart the
Windows service and enable your mappings.

Backing Up Mapped Alarms

After you finish mapping all the alarms, you can choose to back up a copy of the
mappings.

1.

Navigate to the application folder.

The application folder is typically located here:

C:\Program

Files\Avigilon\Avigilon Jacques Gateway\

.

2.

Copy and paste the

JacquesGateParams.xml

file to a back up location.

Restoring Mapped alarms

When you have a backup copy of the mapped alarms, you can restore the integration to
use the back up copy any time.

If you are restoring a backup copy from a previous version of the integration, be aware
that the backup file was named

GatewayParams.xml

. The file needs to be renamed

JacquesGateParams.xml

before it can be used.

3.

Locate your backup copy of the

JacquesGateParams.xml

file.

4.

Copy and paste the backup

JacquesGateParams.xml

file into the application

folder.

The application folder is typically located here:

C:\Program

Files\Avigilon\Avigilon Jacques Gateway\

If prompted, allow Windows to overwrite the copy that is currently in the folder.
