4. ToadjusttheKerfBoard,lowertheSawBladeandlockitdownwiththeLockingPin.AdjusttheKerf
BoardsotherightsideofthebladeslightlyclearstheedgeoftheKerfBoard.LoosentheBevel
LockandsettheBevelAngleat45ºleft.EnsurethattheleftsideofthebladeclearstheKerfBoard.
TightenthefourscrewsholdingtheKerfBoardinplace.
Miter Saw Cleaning and Lubricating
1. ObservetheDustBagwhileusingthesaw.Emptythesawdustintoanappropriatecontainerwhen
thebagisfull.
2. Occasionallywipeorblowoffsawdustthataccumulatesonthesaw.SawdustontheGuideFence
cancauseyoutomakeinaccuratecuts.
3. KeeptheSlidesfreeofsawdust.Wipeorblowthemoffasrequired.Useadrylubricantorwax
ontheslides.Donotuseanoilorgreaselubricant,asthiswillattractdust.
4. OccasionallylubricatethepivotpointoftheTableaswellasothermovingpartswithadry
lubricant.
