18.Testtheoperationofyoursawpriortocuttingaworkpiece.Ifyoufeelexcessivevibrationorhear
anunusualnoise,immediatelystopoperatingthesaw.Correcttheproblembeforecontinueduse.
19.Allowmovementofthewasteportionoftheworkpiece.Donotholdit,clampit,touchitorusea
lengthstopagainstit.Thecut-offwasteportionmustbefreetomove.Itcouldbecomewedged
againstthebladecausingahazard.
20.Avoidawkwardhandpositions.Itisimportanttopositionyourhandnocloserthanfour(4)inches
fromtheblade.
21.Donotcrossyourarmsinfrontofthebladewhileoperatingthesaw.
22.Donotforcethebladethroughtheworkpiece.Lowerthebladethroughtheworkpiecefastenough
toallowthebladetocutwithoutbindingorboggingdown.
23.Beforeremovingobstructedmaterial,releasethetriggerswitch/startbutton,waitforthebladeto
stopmovingandunplugthepowercordfromtheelectricaloutlet.
24.Aftercompletingacut,keeptheHandleinthedownposition.Releasethetriggerswitch/startbutton
andwaitforthebladetostopmoving.
Cleaning, Maintenance and Lubrication
1. Beforeeachuseinspectthegeneralconditionofthetool.Checkforloosescrews,misalignmentor
bindingofmovingparts,crackedorbrokenparts,damagedelectricalwiring,andanyothercondi-
tionthatmayaffectitssafeoperation.
2. Afterusecleanexternalsurfacesofthetoolwithclean,moistcloth.Topreventaccidents,turnOFF
thetoolanddisconnectitspowersupplyafteruse.Clean,thenstorethetoolindoorsoutof
children’sreach.
3. Ifthebladehasbecomedirty,useabladecleaner(notincluded)tocleanit.Dirtybladeswillbind
easily,andwilloftenoverheatandburnthewoodasitcuts.Overheatedbladesdullmoreeasily.
4. Ifthebladehasbecomedull,replaceit.Dullbladeswillcauseincreasedtear-outandraggededges
onthecuts.
5. OccasionallycleantheSlides,rotatingTablecomponentsandothermovingparts.Useagood
qualitydrylubricant(notincluded)whichwillnotattractdust.
