4. To make the width adjustment, select either the left or right guide-rail to begin. Use a flat-blade
screwdriver to loosen the screw that secures the adjustment bracket to the bottom of the cas-
sette, as shown in Figures 13 and 14. It is not necessary to remove the screw completely.
5. Slide the adjustment bracket forward or backward as necessary to align the pointer with the
width setting obtained in Step 1 above. It may be necessary to raise the guide-rail assembly to
allow the bracket to be moved into the correct position. If this is the case, simply lift up on the
note-guide support assembly (see Figure 15). Spring action in the note-guide support will draw
the assembly down once it released, allowing it to rest within the adjustment bracket guides.
Once the adjustment bracket is in the proper position, tighten the screw to hold the bracket in
place. Allow the note-guide assembly to rest within the bracket (Figure 16).
