OPERATION
Winging the machine down
NOTE: If your Seed Hawk control box in the cab of the tractor does not
have a wing down button, please disregard this page and lower your wings
down with the tractor circuit. Please ensure your return line is coupled first.
If your control box has a wing down button please use the following 3 steps
to lower your wings safely.
1. First ensure the Seed Hawk box’s power is turned on.
2. When engaging the lever in the tractor cab that your green banded hoses are
hooked to (which lowers your wings), also press the “Wing down switch” and hold
it in the “ON” (Increase) position until the wing tires touch the ground. If it is a 7-
plex machine you may need to use the switch which is separate from the control
box to lower the 7-fold wings once the main wings have been lowered to the
ground.
3. Release the switch until the next time lowering the wings is required.
Ensure the Tank / Dump line
gauge never exceeds 100 PSI.
Excessive amounts of
pressure will damage the
gauge.
Yellow banded Tank / Dump line
hose must be connected to the circuit
which is plumed directly to the
tractor reservoir.
