1.1 Getting Familiar With The Console
The monitor console has a 185 segment Liquid Crystal Display which is backlit for visibility
under low ambient light conditions.

The display can be broken into different display regions as follows:
Function
Indicators The triangle shaped segments on either side of the display indicate the
selected display function. These function indicators will flash when alarm
conditions associated with that function are present.
Display
Line 1 The upper display line is designated line 1. It consists of six 14 segment
alphanumeric characters. It is used primarily for displaying the selected
function, and alarm conditions. This line also gives information during
Change Settings modes and initial system installation.
