Field area is stored to a maximum of 9999.9 before rolling over to zero. Total area rolls over at
99999 acres. When displaying area in hectares, the display will roll over at 4047.0 Ha (field) or
40470 Ha (total), which are the metric equivalents of the rollover points.
The operator should note that the area accumulation accuracy depends on a number of
variables such as overlap, turns on the headlands, and how often the track drive is
disengaged. The monitor assumes there is no overlap when making its calculations. If the
operator experiences area readings that are persistently high, it is suggested that a reduced
implement width be entered. This width would have to be determined by experience, trial, or
calculation.
