MP3 Player Functions
Standalone Mode
?? The MP3 standalone player can function without having
to boot to Windows.
?? You must install the special MP3 player program from the
factory CD-ROM (D:\MP3\Setup.exe) if you want to use the
player in standalone (non-Windows) mode. Run the MP3
Player program to manage and store the MP3 tracks.
?? The function keys will only work under standalone
(non-Windows) mode. If your computer comes with the
TV-tuner / capture options, some of these keys are then
re-assigned to operate the TV-tuner and capturing functions in
Windows mode.
?? The MP3 tracks must be kept in directory C:\MP3.
?? Volume adjustment is via the VR dial located at the
bottom-left edge of the computer.
?? The track number and status are displayed in the center
LCM display module.
?? In standalone mode, audio CD playback from the optical
drive is not supported.
