To remove the battery pack:

Slide the battery latch into outer direction to release the battery.
Slide the battery lock to unlock the battery from the compartment.
Hold the battery at the finger grip and pull it out from the compartment.
Charging the Battery Pack
The installed battery pack charges automatically any time the computer is connected to the AC
adapter and an external power source.
It is a good idea to occasionally discharge the battery pack fully to preserve its operating
performance.
