Getting Started
Operating Environment
To ensure long use and continued high performance, consider the
following factors when setting up your computer:
•
Set the computer on a flat, stable surface. To prevent damage,
avoid using the computer where it is exposed to strong vibration.
•
Place the computer away from electromagnetic or radio frequency
interference.
•
Avoid using or storing where it will be exposed to extreme
temperatures. Do not leave the computer in direct sunlight, over a
radiator, or near a heat source for a long period of time. High
temperature can damage the circuitry.
•
If you are using the computer with the AC adapter, do not allow
anything to rest on the power cord. Do not place the computer
where people can step on or trip over the cord.
•
The openings on the computer are provided to protect the
computer from overheating.
Connecting the AC Adapter
A universal AC adapter or an optional battery is provided to supply
your computer with power. The adapter’s AC input voltage can range
anywhere from 100 to 240 volts, covering the standard voltages
available in almost every country.
There are two options to power up your DeskNote computer.
