6 TUB AND SHOWER OUTLET CONNECTION

(Fig.D)

Connect tub and shower outlet pipes (1&2) to valve

body outlets (3&4). Shower outlet pipe goes to the right

outlet connection. Tub outlet pipe goes to the left outlet

connection. Route the tub outlet pipe (2) to tub outlet hole

as shown. Connect Pipe Elbows (not included) to end of

outlet pipes.
7 PRESSURE TESTING VALVE (Fig.E)

Use an iron pipe plug (not included) on shower outlet and

tub outlet. Remove Screws (1) and Plasterguard (2) from

Valve Body (3). Perform pressure test. Look for leaks from

the outlets.
WARNING: Pressure testing is not to exceed 250 PSI.

Make sure pressure is balanced between hot and cold

inlets.
WARNING: Differential pressure of hot and cold inlets

must not exceed 100 PSI.
CAUTION: Slowly remove pipe plugs from tub and

shower outlets to relieve pressure.
8 SLEEVES ATTACHMENT (Fig.F)

Remove Set Screw (1) from Cartridge Housing (2) and save.

Remove Plug (3) from Cartridge Housing (2). Place Sleeve

(4) and O-ring (5) onto Cartridge Housing (2). Position

Sleeve (4) so that Hole (7) is aligned with Valve Hole (6).
Place Hub Sleeve (8) and Stem Extender (9) onto Diverter

Body (10) and secure with Screw (11). To remove sleeves,

reverse steps.
9 TRIM FLANGE ATTACHMENT (Fig.G)

Position Flange (1) and Rubber Gaskets (2&3) on Valve (4)

with Drain Hole (5) at the bottom. Slide Flange (1) tight until

is snug to finished wall surface. To remove flange, reverse

steps.
