Maintenance: Always inspect the toe guard before using the pallet truck.
1. Check the soundness of the fastener connections (shoulder screws, threaded rod,
and lock nuts). Also check fasteners for damage (bends, cracks, and excessive
wear). Replace any fastener not in normal condition before using the toe guard.
2. Inspect the formed toe guard and toe guard weldment
3. Inspect the threaded rod and confirm that it is undamaged (for example, not bent
or cracked) and in normal condition.
