WARNING
•
Take care that the installer is a trained and
experienced service man.
•
Turn off gas supply before starting installation.
•
Disconnect power supply to prevent electrical
shock and/or equipment damage.
INSTALLATION
1. Check that the switch has the correct model number
corresponding to the valve body size to ensure a proper
fit of switch to valve.
2. Remove the 1/4" plug at the bottom of the valve body.
3. Ensure that the O-ring is applied to the brass mounting
nut, to effect a proper seal.
4. Tighten the switch to the valve body by using a 17 mm
wrench.
5. Realign the switch housing to the valve body.
6. Perform a leakage test, to ensure the proper seal of the
switch to the valve body.
ADJUSTMENT
1. Ensure that the valve is in the closed position.
2. Ensure that the switch is in the open position, with the
contacts at the terminals 1 and 3 in the open position.
3. Turn the adjustment screw at the bottom of the switch
unit clockwise till the switch closes, with the contacts at
terminal 1 and 3 in closed position.
4. Turn the adjustment screw an additional 1/2 turn clock-
wise, to achieve some overtravel at the switch.
5. Operate the solenoid valve several times to ensure pro-
per functioning of the switch.
