Preliminary Procedure
1. Remove the probe compensation box circuit board by removing the two screws from the cable
end of the compensation box and sliding the circuit board out of the box.
2. Connect the CP500 compensation board to the channel 1 input of the oscilloscope through the
ProBUS extension cable, and close and lock the probe jaws.
3. Turn the oscilloscope on and allow at least 30 minutes warmup time for the CP500 and test
equipment before performing the Verification Procedure.
