1 Passenger/Right Front Mounting Bracket 8 10mm x 20mm OD x 2mm Flat Washers
1 Driver/Left Rear Mounting Bracket 8 10mm Lock Washers
1 Passenger/Right Rear Mounting Bracket 4 8-1.25mm x 30mm Hex Bolts
2 12-1.75mm Double Bolt Plates 4 8mm x 16mm OD x 1.6mm Flat Washers
4 12mm x 24mm OD x 2.5mm Flat Washers 4 8mm Lock Washers
PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. Start installation on the driver side and locate the factory holes in the bottom of the floor panel towards
the front of the vehicle, (Figure 1).
3. Select (1) 12mm Double Bolt Plate. Insert one end of the Bolt Plate into the large round hole and out
the smaller hole. Hold the driver side Front Mounting Bracket in place over the Double Bolt Plate. Bolt
the Bracket to the Bolt Plate with the included (2) 12mm Flat Washers, (2) 12mm Lock Washers and (2)
12mm Hex Nuts, (Figure 3). Do not tighten hardware at this time.
4. Move along the side toward the back of the vehicle. Locate the (2) 8mm factory threaded holes in the
floor panel in front of the rear tire, (Figure 2). Select the driver side Rear Mounting Bracket. Hang the
Bracket from the (2) threaded holes with (2) 8mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (2) 8mm Lock Washers and (2)
8mm Flat washers. Do not tighten hardware at this time.
5. Carefully position the driver Sidebar up to the Mounting Brackets. Bolt the Sidebar to the Mounting
Brackets with the included (4) 10mm x 40mm Hex Bolts, (4) 10mm Lock Washers and (4) 10mm Flat
Washers, (Figure 3).
6. Level and adjust the Sidebar properly and tighten all hardware at this time. Repeat Steps 2
– 5 for
passenger Sidebar installation.
7. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a
protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could
damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild
soap may be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebar.
