4. Hold the passenger side rear Mounting Bracket up against the bottom of the floor and secure it
to the Bolt Plate using (1) 12mm Flat Washer, (1) 12mm Lock Washer and (1) 12mm Hex Nut,
(Figure 4).
5. Carefully place the passenger Sidebar onto the Mounting Brackets and align the large oval
holes in the Mounting Brackets with the threaded holes in center of the Sidebar. Secure the
Sidebar using (2) 1/2
” x 2” Hex Head Bolts, (2) 1/2” Lock Washers, and (2) 1/2” Flat Washers.
To determine the correct direction to install the Sidebar, note that the gap between the end of
the Sidebar and the Step Pad goes toward the front of the Sidebar, (Figure 5).
6. Adjust Sidebar and tighten all hardware
7. Repeat Steps 2-6 for the driver side installation.
8. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to
add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives
that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
Mild soap may be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebar.
