Functionally, the 8400-1 and 8401-1 Robertshaw thermostats
come with all the great features you’d expect. They both have a
large backlit display – 80% larger than other competitive
models. The 8400-1 operates with 2 AA batteries. The 8401-1
operates with a 24V common wire for applications where line
power is preferred. Both are compatible with all standard 24
VAC heating and cooling systems.
Fashionably, the 8400-1 and 8401-1 Robertshaw thermostats
can blend with any decor using exclusive Stat-Snaps™ (Custom
Clear included with unit). Four styles of faceplates are
available: Gloss Black, Antique Bronze, Brushed Stainless, and
Custom Clear. The Custom Clear can be painted or wall papered
to custom match any decor.
You get all of this in a cool new look. We’ve delivered the
desired “touch screen” appearance - a flush, smooth, easy to
clean face – without the high price of a touch screen.
