Mounting Options: PowerMadd’s Polaris S.O.S. is designed to mount to the footrest on the
clutch side of all Polaris sleds built with the Edge or Gen II chassis.
Step 1: On the clutch side of the engine compartment, remove the nut that secures the
bumper to the footrest, keeping the nut.
Step 2: Install the S.O.S. through the bumper bolt, and reinstall the original nut. Tighten the
nut, making sure the lower bent tab on the S.O.S. is snug against the footrest.
Step 3: Using a 5/16” drill bit, use the hole in the lower tab of the S.O.S. as a guide to drill
into the footrest. Install the nut and bolt provided through this hole by pushing the
bolt up through the footrest, and securing it with the nut inside the engine
compartment.
