Operating indicators and error
messages

Child lock is activated. Press the switch for 4 seconds to
activate the appliance.
The main switch indicator lights up. The appliance is ready for use.
The main switch indicator and the
other operating indicators light up.
All the burners are switched on or
are already hot.
The main switch indicator lights up,
the operating indicator for one
burner flashes.
The burner could not be switched
back on (because it is dirty, there
are bits of food stuck to it, the
burner components are not
correctly positioned, or there is a
strong draught).
Main switch indicator off, the
operating indicator for one burner
flashes.
Operating error, control knobs on
without first switching on the main
switch or the safety shutdown.
Appliance has been on for more
than six hours.
The main switch indicator lights up
and the other operating indicators
flash in succession.
Protection against overheating: turn
all the control knobs to setting 0,
allow the appliance to cool down
until the operating indicators go out
or the residual heat warning light
comes on.
Main switch indicator off, all
operating indicators flash in
succession.
Electronic error: turn all the control
knobs to setting 0, restart the
appliance (by pressing the main
switch). If the indicators on the
appliance continue to flash, call
customer services.
