Introduction
The SE-8605 Magnet Holders have jeweled bearings
for long wear and minimal friction. The acrylic stands
are excellent insulators, so they work well for
electrostatic experiments as well as for magnetic
experiments. Use caution when handling the stands as
they may be easily damaged.

Magnet Holder Usage
Place objects on the stand carefully. Objects must be
centered as unbalanced loads can put an excessive
strain on the bearings.
Figure 1 illustrates suggested uses for the magnet
holders. The low friction bearings make them excellent
for investigating small forces.
