e/m REPLACEMENT TUBE
The SE-9646 e/m Replacement Tube is
provided for use with the PASCO Model
SE-9638 e/m Apparatus. To mount the tube,
be sure that the plastic tab at the base of the
tube aligns with the slot in the tube socket.
Then push the tube in until the tube base is
flush against the socket.
To ensure a long tube life, please note:
➀ Take care in mounting the tube. It is delicate. Avoid excessive
handling. Wipe off fingerprints with alcohol.
➁ Do not exceed the maximum recommended voltages:
HEATER 6.3VAC or VDC
ELECTRODES 300 VDC
DEFLECTION PLATES 50VDC
➂ Do not let the electron beam strike the glass of the tube for long
periods of time. The beam will ultimately wear through the glass.
➃ The tube has a finite life. Turn it on ONLY during an experiment.
Limited Warranty
PASCO scientific warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a
period of one year from the date of shipment to the customer. PASCO will replace the product at its
option. This warranty does not cover damage to the product caused by abuse or improper use.
Determination of whether a product failure is the result of a manufacturing defect or improper use
by the customer shall be made solely by PASCO scientific.
