4. For heavy carts or fast collisions, add one or two more pieces
of elastic cord.
5. If you are using a motion sensor, place it within 15 cm of the
bumper. This will allow the sensor to “see” through the
bumper.
For Use as Photogate Mount
1. Mount a bracket on the track at the desired location.
2. Remove the rod-mounting clamp from the photogate.
3. Insert a small thumbscrew through the upper slot of the
bracket and into the mounting hole in the photogate.
Note: Use the shorter thumbscrew (3/8 inch, 10 mm) included with the
bumper kit, not the longer screw that came with the photogate.
4. Adjust the height of the photogate.
5. Tighten the thumbscrew to secure the photogate.
