MODULAR CHILLER SYSTEM
INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
Installation
Module Placement
1. Place pump module in desire location on sub-base or level ground
2. Place the first Front chiller module 12-inches, minimum clearance from the pump
module, from the base of the pump module.
3. Place the second chiller module 12-inches from the first chiller. Make sure to align the
chiller for water connection.
4. Flanges, gaskets and bolts for each chiller are provided for water connection.
Interconnection using copper tubing, 3 inch diameter
Electrical
1. Connect the main high supply voltage from main power to the pump module. Make
sure the wire sizes are compatible with the disconnect.
2. Power for each chiller module comes from the main power supply from the pump
station. Connect the high voltage for each chiller module from the pump module to
each chiller. Each breaker should be labeled with designated chiller.
3. Connect the p-LAN connection from the pump module to each chiller module
controller. 3 Conductor shielded cable is provided for the connection interface. Use
the J11 connections on the pump module and J6 on the chiller modules. Make sure to
match the RX-/TX-, RX+/RX- and GND connections for each module. THIS IS THE
COMMUNICATION CABLE FOR THE SYSTEM. Do not confuse it with t-LAN
connections on the chiller controllers.
