TAKING CARE OF UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS
Possible Cause Correction Forced Output
Function Cannot
Be Used
Overload indicator
is OFF.
The UPS battery
voltage is not in
the tolerance level
for the forced
output.
The protection
function is
operating or the
output switch has
been used to stop
the generator
output.
Faulty generator.
Check overload
indicator.
Check the
voltmeter.
Restart the
engine.
Take generator
to an authorized
Alphagen
servicing dealer,
or refer to shop
manual.
Check that the
power cord from
the UPS is
connected to the
DC output coupler.
If not, stop the
engine and
connect the power
cord to the DC
output coupler.
Check the UPS
battery voltage.
Replace the UPS
battery with a new
one if the UPS
battery voltage is
0
2 V (P. 26).
Check the UPS
battery voltage.
Forced output will
only operate if the
battery voltage is
sufficient. (P. 26).
To reset , stop and
restart the engine.
Replace or repair
faulty components
as necessary.
