Attaching the Controller to the faceplate
MLM 52 1GWP
1 . Place the original plastic faceplate face down and remove
the three screws at the rear that hold the MLC 52 controller
in place.
2 . Carefully remove the controller from the faceplate.
3 . With the new MLM 52 1GWP metal faceplate face down,
align the MLC 52 controller (also face down) over the
stand-offs on the rear.
4 . Secure it in place with the screws provided.

Removing and installing the MLC 52 controller
MLM 52 VC and MLM 52 L VC
1 . Place the original faceplate (or MLM 52 metal faceplate)
face down and remove the three screws at the rear that
hold the MLC 52 controller in place.
2 . Carefully remove the controller from the faceplate.
3 . With the MLM 52 VC or MLM 52 L VC faceplate face
down, align the MLC 52 controller (face down) over the
stand-offs.
4 . Secure it in place with the screws provided. For metal
faceplates, use silver screws. For plastic faceplates, use the
black, self-tapping screws.

Secure the MLC 52
controller on
the stand-offs
using either
OR
silver screws
for metal plates
self tapping screws
for plastic plates.
5 . Attach the volume control input to the captive screw
connector on the rear of the volume control knob
potentiometer, as shown in the diagram below.

6 . Before attaching the MLM faceplate to the wall box,
connect, program, and test your controller, following the
instructions in the MLC 52 User’s Manual, supplied with
the controller.
