Attaching the Controller to the faceplate
MLM 52 1GWP

Place the original plastic faceplate face down and remove
the three screws at the rear that hold the MLC 52 controller
in place.

Carefully remove the controller from the faceplate.

With the new MLM 52 1GWP metal faceplate face down,
align the MLC 52 controller (also face down) over the
stand-offs on the rear.

Secure it in place with the screws provided.

Removing and installing the MLC 52 controller
MLM 52 VC and MLM 52 L VC

Place the original faceplate (or MLM 52 metal faceplate)
face down and remove the three screws at the rear that
hold the MLC 52 controller in place.

Carefully remove the controller from the faceplate.

With the MLM 52 VC or MLM 52 L VC faceplate face
down, align the MLC 52 controller (face down) over the
stand-offs.

Secure it in place with the screws provided. For metal
faceplates, use silver screws. For plastic faceplates, use the
black, self-tapping screws.

Secure the MLC 52

using either

silver screws
for metal plates
self tapping screws
for plastic plates.

Attach the volume control input to the captive screw
connector on the rear of the volume control knob
potentiometer, as shown in the diagram below.

Before attaching the MLM faceplate to the wall box,
connect, program, and test your controller, following the
instructions in the MLC 52 User’s Manual, supplied with
the controller.
