15.1 pH and ORP measurement

Cause Remedy
pH electrode:
– Measured value outside the
measuring range
– Use a suitable electrode
– Air bubble in front of the dia-
phragm
– Remove air bubble
– Air in the diaphragm – Extract air or moisten junc-
tion
– Cable broken – Replace the electrode
– Gel electrolyte dried out – Replace the electrode
Cause Remedy
– No electrode connected – Connect the electrode
– Setting time during calibration
too long
– Adjust temperature if neces-
sary
– Recalibrate
