GENERAL SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

Read the manual prior to using the unit.

Keep the manual for future reference.

Keep the packaging for safer transport in its original packaging

Install the unit in such a way that sufficient cooling is ensured.

The unit contains voltage carrying parts. DO NOT open the unit.

When you unplug the unit from the mains always pull the plug, never the lead.

Never plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.
-
If the plug and/or mains lead are damaged, they need to be repaired by a qualified technician.

If the unit is damaged to an extent that you can see internal parts, do not plug the unit into a mains
outlet.

Repairs have to be carried out by a qualified technician.

Do no place the unit near heat sources.

Do not clean the unit with solvents or detergents. Only use a dry cloth for cleaning.

Make sure that no small objects or liquids can enter the housing.
These converters are designed for use with units in places where a different mains voltage is supplied
than that required by the appliance. They are useful for units bought in the USA or in Far East for use
in Europe or vice versa (only applicable to units fitted with a 230/110V input/output selector switch).
These converters allow using units up to 1000VA max.

1.) C
HECK IF THE SWITCH IS IN THE CORRECT POSITION PRIORTO CARRYING OUT FOLLOWING STEPS

SWITCHING THE CONVERTERS ON IF THE SWITCH IS IN THE WRONG POSITION CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE
THE CONVERTER AND THE CONNECTED UNIT

2.) Check if the converter is switched off (if the version is fitted with an On/Off switch) and plug
the power lead of the converter into a mains outlet.
3.) Then plug in the appliance to be powered and switch the converter on. The red LED will light
up.
4.) After use, first switch off the powered appliance, then the converter and then only unplug the
mains lead.
5.) If the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced, switch the converter off first. Check first if the
problem has been solved. Unscrew the fuse holder, remove the blown fuse and replace it by a
new one with the same specifications.
