15. Regulate the pressure and control the flow rate as described above between 5-30 psig and a 2 SCFH flow rate.
16. Allow the span gas to flow for 1-2 minutes to purge the air trapped in the span gas line. If the analyzer is equipped with a
SAMPLE/BYPASS valve, place it in the BYPASS position.
17. Disconnect the sample gas line and install the purged span gas line. If the analyzer is equipped with a SAMPLE/BYPASS
valve, keep it in the BYPASS position and allow the span gas to flow for 1-2 minutes to purge the gas lines inside the 
analyzer. 
18. If the analyzer is equipped with a SAMPLE/BYPASS valve, place it in the SAMPLE position.
19. Caution: Allow the span gas to flow and wait until the reading is stable before proceeding with SPAN
CALIBRATION. A premature SPAN CALIBRATION adjustment result in an inaccurate SPAN CALIBRATION 
adjustment characterized by the introduction of erroneous +/- offset. 
20. Repeat steps 1 through 4 above.

21. Advance the reverse shade cursor using the ARROW keys to highlight SPAN CALIBRATE. 
22. Press the ENTER key to select the highlighted menu option.

24. Note: A span gas concentration above 1000 ppm dictates the selection of the PERCENT option. 
25. Advance the reverse shade cursor using the ARROW keys to highlight the desired GAS CONCENTRATION. 
26. Press the ENTER key to select the highlighted menu option. 
27. The following displays appear assuming selection of the PPM option:

28. Press the ENTER key to advance the underline cursor right or press the MENU key to advance the underline cursor left to 
reach to the desired digit of the alarm value.
29. Press the ARROW keys to enter the alarm value. 
30. Repeat steps 28 and 29 until the complete SPAN value has been entered. 
31. Save the adjustment value by pressing the ENTER key or abort by pressing the MENU key. 
32. Allow approximately 60 seconds for the calibration process while the processor determines whether the signal output or 
reading has stabilized within 60% of the full scale low range. Both the Zero Calibrate and Span Calibrate functions result in
