CrashFree BIOS
This feature allows you to restore the original BIOS data from a floppy disk in case
the BIOS codes and data are corrupted. This protection eliminates the need to buy
a replacement ROM chip.
AGP 8X support
AGP 8X (AGP 3.0) is the next generation VGA interface specification that enables
enhanced graphics performance with high bandwidth speeds up to 2.12 GB/s. With
a bus of 533Mhz, AGP 8X is twice as fast as AGP 4X.
USB 2.0 technology
The motherboard implements the new Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0
specification, extending the connection speed from 12 Mbps on USB 1.1 to a fast
480 Mbps on USB 2.0. See page 1-15.
10/100 Mbps LAN support
Easy connectivity to your network or broadband connection with the onboard LAN
port. See page 3-3.
6-channel digital audio
The ADI AD1888 AC’97 audio CODEC onboard provides 6-channel audio playback
for 5.1 surround sound using digital audio devices via a Sony/Philips Digital
Interface (S/PDIF) jack located at the rear panel I/O. See page 3-3.
