Conductive measuring system
Product description
1 Product description
1.1 Function and configuration
The conductive measuring principle is used
for level detection of conductive liquids.
Function
When the probe (s) is covered by the
medium, conductive electrodes detect the
product resistance.
A low alternating current flows which is
measured by the electronics of the signal
conditioning instrument on amplitude and
phase position and converted into a
switching command.
The switching signal is determined by the
length or the mounting position of the
appropriate electrode (s).
Configuration
One or two conductive electrodes and a
signal conditioning instrument VEGATOR
256C, 532 Ex or 631 Ex are required to
implement a measuring system.
