The solid steel cap at the end of the
SoftFinish

handle enables controlled
hammer blows, for example,
when loosening a tight screw.
Due to the solid steel cap and hex blade
extending through the handle,
there is no loss of impact energy when
a precise hammer blow is applied.
Thermoplastic elastomer tolerates high
loads and feels soft and pleasant to the
touch.

The Wiha SoftFinish
®
zone features
a solid moulded core with soft
outer grip. This requires less force,
yet achieves 40% more torque than
conventional handles. The handle is
shaped to fit comfortably in the hand,
providing maximum torque forces in
dry and general working conditions.
If a stuck screw has to be loosened,
a precise hammer blow can be
applied to the solid steel cap.
Due to the hex blade extending
trough the handle to the steel cap,
there is no loss of impact energy.
