Answering system settings
Play the announcement
Press MENU when the phone is not in use.
Press or to scroll to Answering sys, then press SELECT.
Press SELECT to choose Announcement. The handset
displays Play [2] Del [3] Rec [7] and the handset announces,
“To play, press 2. To record, press 7.”
Press 2 to play the current announcement. The handset displays
Playing... Stop [5].
Press VOL to decrease or VOL to increase the listening volume.
Press 5 or OFF to stop the playback at any time.
Delete your announcement
Press MENU when the phone is not in use.
Press or to scroll to Answering sys, then press SELECT.
Press SELECT to choose Announcement. The handset
displays Play [2] Del [3] Rec [7] and the handset announces,
“To play, press 2. To record, press 7.”
Press 3 to delete your own recorded announcement. The handset displays
Annc deleted and the handset announces, “Announcement deleted.” You hear a
confirmation tone.
When your announcement is deleted, calls are answered with the default announcement.
