LSx Trigger Converter
PN 6301
The PN 6301 is designed to convert the factory LSx crank trigger signal
to a 12 volt square wave signal that will trigger a conventional MSD 6 or
7-Series Ignition Control. The Converter is programmed for use on an
LS2/LS7 with a 58-tooth, 5 volt signal. It can also be used with LS1/LS6
(24-tooth, 12 volt signal) by cutting the Red wire loop (Figure 2).
TImIng AdjusTmenT
There are two rotary dials in the Converter that provide adjustment of
the timing from TDC to 50° BTDC. The timing is adjustable in one de-
gree increments.
Led
The LED indicates that the Converter is connected and functioning
when it is illuminated.
Connects to switched 12 volt source.
