2 - GM LS Engine Coil Brackets
Mounting Hardware (16 bolts)
This MSD Coil Bracket has been designed to dress up the top of GM’s LS engines. The 8215 Coil
Bracket will work on stock coils for LS1 and LS6 engines or with MSD coil PN 8285. This bracket will
NOT work with MSD coil PN 8286 or MSD coil PN 8287.
The 8216 Coil Bracket will work on stock coils for LS2 and LS7engines or with MSD coil PN 8287.
This bracket will NOT work with MSD coil PN 8285 or MSD coil PN 8286. Please ensure the selected
bracket part number matches your engine!

The brackets are a direct replacement for the stock coil mounting system that enhances the late model
look – especially when paired with MSD’s Multiple Spark Coils for the LS.
Note: Always use the supplied hardware when installing MSD Coils or Coil Brackets.
1. Disconnect harnesses from the coils.
2. Remove coils from existing brackets
3. Remove existing brackets from top of engine.
4. Install the MSD Coil Brackets using the supplied hardware.
5. Mount coils on MSD Coil Brackets.
6. Reconnect wiring harnesses to coils.
