IMPORTANT: Read instructions before attempting the installation.
Parts Included:
1 - Blaster GM Single Connector Coil 1 - Parts Bag with Mounting Hardware
WARNING: During installation, disconnect the battery cables. When disconnecting the battery,
always remove the Negative cable first and install it last.
This MSD Blaster Coil is designed as a replacement coil and produces a high voltage spark. To get
even more ignition performance, install an MSD Ignition Control. To ease the wiring with an MSD
Ignition, use Harness, PN 8877.
1. Disconnect the stock coil connector and the spark plug wire.
2. Remove the mounting hardware and remove coil.
3. Install the new MSD Coil.
4. Plug in the wiring harness and connect the coil wire.
WARNING: High Voltage is present on the coil terminals. DO NOT touch the coil terminals or tower
when the engine is cranking or running.
