The MSD Rotor will install to stock Honda/Acura distributors with a factory style cap or with MSD’s
line of Extreme Power Caps. Consult the chart below to confirm that you have the correct rotor for
your application. It is recommended to install a new distributor cap with the rotor. MSD's caps are
listed in the chart in Figure 1.

1. Remove the distributor cap. If you choose to
remove the spark plug wires, be sure to mark
their location on the cap.
2. For the PN 8092 Rotor you may need to rotate
the engine to access the rotor retaining screw.
Once the screw is accessible, remove it and
pull the rotor off (Figure 2).
3. Install the MSD Rotor and the retaining screw
with washer. Install the distributor cap.
