LED light will blink 3 seconds on and 1 second off and will not stop
blinking until the “data code” is read. The blinking will prompt the
user to contact the technician.
Instruct the customer to read the data code as follows:
To view the “data code”, which is the usage time in hours, push and
hold the MODE button for three seconds. A code will show up on
the display for five seconds and the green light will flash. No other
icons will turn on. After five seconds, the display will return to the
prescribed pressure setting and the green light will stop flashing.
The customer can restart the auto compliance mode by pressing
and holding the mode and up arrow for three seconds. The
actual times will not reset.
To reset the Auto Compliance mode, reset the usage time as
described above.
NOTE: The number of weeks for compliance should be set to
the requirements of the prescribing physician or to the
reimbursement criteria of the payer. Auto compliance is
designed to be an early warning system to the dealer of
issues which may result in less than prescribed usage of
CPAP. This is a first alert of potential clinical problems as well
as potential reimbursement issues.
NOTE: During initial patient evaluations, the unit should
remain plugged into the power source. Unplugging from
the power source will cause the auto compliance feature
to be reset!
VIEW TOTAL TIME:
The TIME icon will appear on the LCD and the total time in
hours will be displayed. The total time for Tier 2 is the time the
device is plugged in. Total time for Tier 3 is since unit was set-up
for a new patient. This value should be zeroed for new patients. To
zero, press and hold up and down arrows simultaneously for
3 seconds until the value reads 0, press mode.
