A. ELT Removal
(1) See Figure 11 ELT Removal Sequence.

(2) Disconnect the antenna coax cable.
NOTE: Check the coax cable center conductor pin which is prone to retracting into the
connector housing.
(3) Remove remote switch harness D-sub plug.
(4) Open the velcro or metal strap.
(5) Slide the ELT up and out, and away from the mounting tray.
