Turning the beeper on or off does not
affect the test results.

set to beep when:

• A test strip is inserted

• Blood or control solution is

applied to the test strip

• A result is displayed

• An error occurs while testing

• Buttons are pushed

• Batteries are installed

Wait 5 seconds, then press the

button to turn the meter on.

The temperature symbol will

appear when the batteries are
first inserted. This is normal and
will disappear after 30 seconds. If
symbol remains after 30 seconds,
call Accu-Chek
