Intended Use

(Quattro Air/ Quattro Air for Her only)

The Quattro Air/Quattro Air for Her is a noninvasive accessory used for channeling
airflow (with or without supplemental oxygen) to a patient from a positive airway
pressure (PAP) device such as a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) or
bilevel system.
The Quattro Air/Quattro Air for Her is:

• to be used by patients (weighing > 30 kg) for whom positive airway pressure

therapy has been prescribed

• intended for single-patient reuse in the home environment and multipatient

reuse in the hospital/institutional environment.

Intended Use

(Quattro FX/ Quattro FX for Her/ Mirage Quattro/

Mirage Liberty)

The mask directs airflow noninvasively to a user from a positive airway pressure
device such as a continuous positive airway (CPAP) or bilevel system.
The mask is intended for:

• adult users (>30 kg) for whom positive airway pressure has been prescribed

• single user re-use in the home environment and multipatient re-use in the

hospital/institutional environment.

Using the Mask

• Refer to the Technical specifications section in this user guide for mask setting

options.

• Follow the instructions provided by your physician or sleep therapist.

• (Quattro FX/Quattro FX for Her only) Prior to fitting your mask, remove the

spring frame support from the rear of your mask and retain for future use.

• To fit your mask, follow the instructions in the Fitting section.

• Do not overtighten the headgear straps. If you feel air-leaks you may need to:

– refit or reposition your mask

– adjust your headgear

– check that your mask is assembled correctly

– contact your physician or sleep therapist to have your mask refitted.

• (Quattro Air/Quattro Air for Her only) Use a standard conical connector if

pressure readings and/or supplemental oxygen are required.

page under Service & Support. They are also available from ResMed upon
request.

This product does not contain natural rubber latex.

Table” on www.resmed.com on the Products page under Service & Support.

To disassemble your mask, follow the instructions in the Disassembly section.

Reassembly

To assemble your mask, follow the instructions in the Reassembly section.

Cleaning the Mask at Home

The mask and headgear should only be gently handwashed.

Daily/After Each Use

• Disassemble the mask components according to the disassembly instructions.

• Thoroughly clean the separated mask components (excluding headgear), by

gently rubbing in warm (approximately 30°C) water using mild soap.

• To optimise the mask seal, facial oils should be removed from the cushion after

use.

• Use a soft bristle brush to clean the vent.

• Inspect each component and, if required, repeat washing until visually clean.

• Rinse all components well with drinking quality water and allow to air dry out

of direct sunlight.

• When all components are dry, reassemble according to the reassembly

instructions.

Weekly

Handwash the headgear. It can be washed without being disassembled.
