Speaker cables are short-circuited.

Make sure all speaker cables are connected correctly.

There is noise interference
from digital or radio
frequency equipment.

This unit is too close to the digital or high-
frequency equipment.

Move this unit further away from such equipment.

The picture is disturbed.

The video source uses scrambled or encoded
signals to prevent dubbing.

This unit suddenly enters
the standby mode.

The internal temperature becomes too high and the
overheat protection circuitry has been activated.

Wait about 1 hour for this unit to cool down and then turn it
back on.

The remote control does
not work or function
properly.

Wrong distance or angle.

The remote control will function within a maximum range of 6
m (20 ft) and no more than 30 degrees off-axis from the front
panel.

fluorescent lamp, etc.) is striking the remote
control sensor of this unit.

Reposition this unit.

The batteries are weak.

Replace all batteries.

The batteries do not last long and get quickly
exhausted.

Using alkaline batteries is strongly recommended.

Set the backlight mode to “OFF”.

The operation mode selector is set incorrectly.

Set the operation mode selector correctly.
When operating this unit, set it to the FAMP position.When
operating the component selected by the input selector button,
set it to the FSOURCE position. When operating the TV, set it
to the FTV position.
