Examples

Operation of the RT-123 can be synchronized with a sequencer or other rhythm machine equipped with a
MIDI jack. This allows playback of the patterns or songs of the RT-123 with the tempo determined by
the sequencer.

Connect the MIDI OUT jack of the MIDI sequencer, rhythm machine, or other MIDI
component to the [MIDI IN] connector of the RT-123, using a MIDI cable.

For information on connections, see page 3.

For information on the setting procedure, see page 49.

The RT-123 operates under control of the MIDI sequencer.

Verify that the external MIDI sequencer can send the MIDI clock,
start, stop, and continue signals.

NOTE

Use the [FUNCTION] key and pad 13 (MIDI) and set up the RT-123 so that it can
receive the MIDI clock and other messages.
