1 Check battery poles for oxidation.
2 Check fastening of the battery poles.
3 Check the acid level in the batteries (only
for maintenance-free batteries).
4 Check current-carrying lines and con-
tacts for damages and oxidation
5 Check control handle to see that it is ac-
cessible and is functioning correctly.
6 Check voltage of battery cells when the
vacuum turbine is running (DU £ 0.15
Volt).
7 Check brushes for proper rotating direc-
tion, setting and wear and tear (brush le-
vel).
8 Check drive belts of the brushes for ten-
sion and wear and tear.
9 Clean air let grid in the cleaning head.
10 Check water metering valve, solenoid
valve and water distribution.
11 Check to see that the water system is
leak-proof - especially the screw joints of
the fresh water tank/ dirty water tank.
12 Check vacuum motor/ squeegee tool for
proper functioning.
13 Check squeegee blades for setting and
wear and tear.
14 Check the float in the dirty water tank
and its functioning.
15 Check vacuum hose to see it is leak-
proof.
16 Check dirty water drain hose to see it is
leak-proof.
17 Check fill level/ draning hose for fresh
water with angular tap at the lower end to
see it is leak-proof.
18 Clean the water distribution strip (only
Saber Compact 22 SP).
19 Clean and check the sweeper container
(only Saber Compact 22 SP).
20 Check washers of the tank lid.
21 Clean the lint filter.
22 Check wheels for wear and tear.
23 Check the mechanics for raising and lo-
wering the chassis for proper
functioning.
24 Check all functions during a test run.
1 Check carbon brushes in brush drive and
suction turbine (and also in the drive mo-
tor) for wear and tear; replace carbon
brushes, if required.
2 Replace pump hose of the metering
pump .
1 Replace geared belt in the brush head.
