Troubleshooting
Problem Suggeston
I hear other calls when
usng the telephone.
Dsconnect the telephone base from the telephone wall jack. Plug n a dfferent telephone. If
you stll hear other calls, the problem s probably n the wrng or local servce. Call your local
telephone company.

I hear nose on the
cordless handset, and
none of the keys or
buttons works.
Make sure the telephone lne cord s plugged n securely. •
My caller ID features
are not workng
properly.
Caller ID s a subscrpton servce. You must subscrbe to ths servce from your local telephone
company for ths feature to work on your telephone.
The caller may not be callng from an area whch supports caller ID.
Both you and the caller’s telephone companes must use equpment whch are compatble
wth the caller ID servce.
The caller ID information will be displayed after the first or second ring.
If you subscrbe to hgh-speed Internet servce (Dgtal Subscrber Lne - DSL) through your
telephone lines, you must install a DSL filter between the telephone base and the telephone wall
jack. The filter will prevent noise and caller ID problems caused by DSL interference. Please
contact your DSL service provider for more information about DSL filters.
