5 . After you enter the name, press

SELECT or PROG. The screen dsplays ENTER NUMBER .

6 . Enter the telephone number . Use then press

CHAN/REMOVE to backspace and make correctons .

Press

REDIAL/PAUSE to enter a pause f necessary . A P wll be shown wth the entry .

Press REDIAL/PAUSE to dsplay the last number (up to 24 dgts long) daled from ths phone .

Press SELECT or PROG to store your entry . The screen dsplays DISTINCT RING? and the

current settng .

8 . Press or to choose

Y (for yes) f you wsh the phone to alert you to calls from ths number

by assigning a distinctive ringer after the first ring. Choose

N for a normal rnger .

9 . Press

SELECT or PROG to confirm. If you chose Y n step 8, a

wll be dsplayed wth the

entry .

Edit a speed dial entry

1 . Press and hold the speed dal locaton key (1-9) of the entry you wsh to edt .
2 . When the screen dsplays the entry you want to edt, press

SELECT . Then press or untl

EDIT flashes.

Press SELECT . The screen dsplays the name and number . The cursor appears at the begnnng

of the name . Press

CHAN/REMOVE or press and the dal pad keys to edt the name . Press

SELECT to move on to edt the number . Press CHAN/REMOVE to backspace or press to move

to the next dgt to make correctons . Press

SELECT to move on to edt the dstnctve rng settng .

Press or to choose Y (for yes) f you wsh the phone to alert you to calls from ths number by

SELECT to save the edted nformaton .
