4. Enter the item and press @.
5. Press J (Options).
6. Select Save and press J (Select).
Adding an Entry from Standby Mode
1. In standby mode, enter a phone number and press @.
2. Select Add New Contact and press J (Select).
To add the phone number to an existing Contacts list entry, select Add to Existing.
3. Proceed from Step 3 of “Adding an Entry from the Main Menu” (page 79).

• You can also add a new entry if
you press j J (Options) from the
Contacts list and select Create
Contact.
• You can preset the default
storage place for Contacts list
entries. For details, see “Setting
the Default Storage Place”
(page 92).
• To clear an item you entered,
select Clear Field after Step 5.
